LG V30, company’s upcoming flagship smartphone will be announced on August 31. It will not only have improved specs but will also come with upgraded LG UX 6.0+.
It is an advanced version of UX, which is specially optimized to work better with 18:9 OLED FullVision displays. The V30, being teased as a premium multimedia smartphone will offer more personalized options for intuitive user experience.
It’s predecessor, the LG V20 came with a secondary display. This second screen has now evolved into a floating bar in V30. It offers access to frequently used functions or applications. When it is not needed, the floating bar can easily be draged off the display. (photo under will give a brief idea.).
The LG UX 6.0+ security features have also been improved. Face recognition (using front camera) will now unlock the V30 smartphone instantly, even when phone’s display is off.
Users can also unlock V30 without pressing power button or swiping the screen. It can unlock using Voice Recognition and self-generated keywords (ideally three to five syllables combined). It also features Qualcomm Aqstic Voice UI technology for always-on listening without using much battery.
This upcoming smartphone will also include Graphy (accessed in camera’s Manual Mode). It allows photography lovers to capture quality pictures. Using it, users can choose from a portfolio of professional shots, each with different style / mood.
They can also download photos taken by professionals from Graphy website or mobile app and apply those metadata presets (white blalance, shutter speed, aperture and ISO) for photos taken by LG V30.
With LG UX 6.0+, different shooting modes like Auto, Grid shot, Snap shot and match shot are grouped under one menu for easy selection. Users can also quickly create GIF’s from Gallery menu.
