Vivo has just announced its latest smartphone in its ‘V Series’ called the Vivo V15 Pro. It runs on Android 9.0 Pie OS with Funtouch OS 9.0 on top.
The phone features in 6.39-inch Super AMOLED 2.5D glass display with 2340 x 1080 pixels resolution, 19.5:9 aspect ratio and multi-touch support. The screen delivers P3-Colors. It has very slim 1.75mm side bezels and 2.2mm top bezels and boasts an impressive 91.64% screen-to-body ratio.
There is no notch however, there is an in-display fingerprint sensor for fast unlocking (just in 0.37 seconds). Light Sensor and proximity sensor have been placed behind the display.
The Vivo V15 Pro features in 32MP popup camera which opens in just 0.46 seconds. The popup mechanism has been tested for over 3 lakh times. It also supports face unlock which unlocks in just 0.55 seconds.
At the back side is triple camera setup consisting of 48MP (1/2.5-inch Quad pixel sensor, 12MP Effective pixel, F/1.8 Aperture) + 5MP (depth sensor) + 8MP (AI 120-degree super wide angle) shooters.
The Vivo V15 Pro specs include 2GHz octa-core Snapdragon 675 Mobile Platform with Adreon 612 GPU. It has eSports mode and Dual Turbo mode which further enhance gaming and processing capabilities.
The smartphone packs in 6GB RAM, 128GB storage space and is powered by 3700 mAh battery. The battery supports Dual-Engine fast charging as well. Connectivity wise, it supports dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V5.0, GPS/GLONASS and USB Type-C.
The mobile has dimensions of 157.25 x 74.71 x 8.21 mm and has weight of 185 grams. It has dual Nano SIM slot and MicroSD card slot.
The Vivo V15 Pro price is Rs. 28,990 (US$ 408 approx.) and comes in Topaz Blue and Ruby Red colors. It is already up for pre-order and will start selling from from March 8th. You can buy phone online at Amazon.in and Flipkart.
