VIVO officially unveiled its latest foldable flagship smartphone in China called X Fold+ (model: V2229A). It comes in Black, Mountain Blue and Red colors.
VIVO X Fold+ specs and features
Starting with the display, it has a 6.53-inch outer E5 AMOLED display that offers 2520 x 1080 pixels resolution, 21:9 aspect ratio, 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate (in game mode) and boasts SCHOTT’s Xensation Alpha glass protection.
Inside VIVO X Fold Plus is an 8.03-inch E5 AMOLED LTPO display that gives 2160 x 1916 pixels resolution, 1Hz-120Hz adaptive refresh rate, 140Hz touch sampling rate (in game mode) and SCHOTT’s flexible ultra-thin glass protection.
The device when folded measures 162.01 x 74.47 x 14.57 ~ 14.91 mm. When you unfold this smartphone, the dimensions goes at 162.01 x 144.87 x 6.28 ~ 7.40mm. The total weight of handset is just about 311 grams.
It comes with Dual Nano SIM slots and supports 5G SA/NSA and dual 4G VoLTE. It has stereo speakers and includes CS43131 Hi-Fi chip for optimum audio. VIVO has included a barometer and an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint sensor at inner and outer displays.
The VIVO Fold+ specs include octa-core (up to 3.2GHz) Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 mobile platform with Adreno 730 next-gen GPU. It has 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and comes in 256GB / 5 12GB UFS 3.1 storage options. It comes pre-installed with Android 12 based OriginOS Ocean.
In terms of cameras, company includes a 16MP front camera (both inside and outside) with F/2.45 Aperture. At the back side is a quad camera setup along with LED Flash.

The VIVO X Fold Plus feature in 4730mAh (typical) battery and supports 80W wired fast charging, 50W wireless charging and 10W reverse wireless charging. Connectivity options like Wi-Fi 802.11ax, Wi-Fi hotsopt, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V5.2 LE, USB 3.1 Type-C (gen1), NFC, dual band GPS/GLONASS/Bediou/Galileo and Type-C audio.

- 12GB/512GB model: 10,999 Yuan ($1538 / Rs. 1,25,520 approx.)
The smartphone is up for order in China and will go on sale from September 29th.
