VIVO X60 and X60 Pro are official with Exynos 1080 SoC [Updated]

VIVO expands its X Series lineup with the launch of VIVO X60 and VIVO X60 Pro smartphone. Both of these mobiles share several similarities.

For starters, both of these come with two-tone gradient design and satin AG technology, which is not only smooth but also resists fingerprints. They have Dual Nano Slots inside with 5G (SA/NSA) / Dual 4G VoLTE support.

The VIVO X60 is 7.36 mm thick while X60 Pro is 7.59mm thick. These have 6.56-inch E3 AMOLED display with pro variant have E3 Curved AMOLED screen. These have 2376 x 1080 pixels resolution and offers up to 120Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate. They also boast 92.76% screen-to-body ratio. For security and fast unlocking, they have in-display fingerprint sensor.

The VIVO X60 and VIVO X60 Pro feature in octa-core Exynos 1080 processor inside. Depending on model, these have 8GB LPDDR5 RAM with 128GB or 256GB UFS 3.1 storage space. There is a 12GB LPDDR5 RAM with 256GB UFS 3.1 storage space.

Both cellphones run on Android 11 based OriginOS 1.0. These come 32MP front facing camera. The X60 comes with 48MP (main) + 13MP (wide-angle) + 13MP (portrait) lenses while the X60 Pro features in quad-cameras which include 48MP (main, F/1.48) + 13MP (120° Ultra-wide) + 13MP (50mm portrait) + 8MP (Periscope, 5X optical, 60X super zoom).

The VIVO X60 specs include 4300mAh battery while the VIVO X60 Pro features in 4200mAh battery capacity. These support 33W fast charging. Both handset supports USB Type-C.

The VIVO X60 and X60 Pro will go on sale in China from January 8th. Company has also confirmed VIVO X60 Pro+ which will be powered by Snapdragon 888 SoC. It will be announced by end of January 2021.

UPDATE 23/03/2021: VIVO has officially launched VIVO X60 and VIVO X60 Pro smartphones in Malaysia. These come in Midnight Black and Shimmer Blue colours. Both of these handsets are up for pre-order in Malaysia starting today (March 22) to March 26th. Notably, there is a single 12GB/256GB variant available. The X60 Pro houses 13MP portrait lens instead of periscope lens.

UPDATE 25/03/2021: VIVO today launched its latest X60 and X60 Pro smartphones in India. It has same specs sheet of the global variant recently unveiled in Malaysia but with different RAM/Storage variant. Both of these will go on sale online at Amazon.in and Flipkart along with offline channels from April 25th. Pre-order starts today.
