Vivo has put an end to the rumors and has announced X7 and X7 Plus smartphones in China. Both the phones come in Rose Gold and Gold color options.
The Vivo X7 features 5.2-Inch Super AMOLED display while the Vivo X7 Plus sports a 5.7-Inch Super AMOLED screen. Both the phones have 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution, 1.75mm ultra-narrow frame and comes with 2.5D curved glass.
They are powered by 1.8GHz Octa Core Snapdragon 652 processor with Adreno 510 GPU. Inside is 4GB RAM and 64GB storage space. The X7 Plus comes in 128GB storage variant as well.
These phones run on Android 5.1 Lollipop based Funtouch OS 2.5.1 and houses Dual SIM slots with 4G LTE support. The X7 has dimensions of 147.3 x 71.85 x 7.24 mm and weighs 151 grams. The X7 Plus has measurements of 158.66 x 77.94 x 7.49 mm and weighs 183.5 grams.
Both smartphones features a 16MP selfie camera on the front with F/2.0 Aperture and soft LED flash. The X7 specs include 16 primary camera with IMX298 sensor, supports PDAF and comes with LED flash. The Plus variant houses a slightly better 16MP rear snapper with IMX 298 sensor, PDAF and LED Flash.
They also include fingerprint sensor for added security and AK4376 audio chip for optimum sound output. The Vivo X7 is fueled by 3000 mAh battery while the Vivo X7 plus features a larger 4000 mAh battery capacity. Fast charging is also supported on both the devices.
Connectivity options include 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth V4.1, MicroUSB V2.0, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack etc.
The Vivo X7 is priced at 2498 yuan (US$ 375) and will go on sale in China from July 7, 2016. The X7 Plus price will be announced at the time of sale date, which is slated for July 15, 2016.
