Vivo India expands its ‘Y Series’ offering with its latest mid-range mobile phone called Y81. It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo OS with Funtouch OS 4.
It has dedicated dual SIM slots and supports 4G VoLTE. It has rear facing fingerprint sensor for quick unlocking. The device measures 155.21 x 75.24 x 7.7 mm and weighs 146 grams.
The Vivo Y81 specs include 6.22-inch IPS display with 1520 x 720 pixels resolution, 19:9 aspect ratio multi-touch support. Under the hood is 2GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P20 MT6762 SoC with IMG PowerVR GE8320 (650MHz) GPU.
It has 3GB RAM, 32GB internal storage and allows further expansion up to 256GB using MicroSD card. There is a 3260 mAh battery that powers the hardware.
In terms of camera there is a 5MP front camera with F/2.2 Aperture while the back side sports 13MP shooter with LED Flash and F/2.2 Aperture. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth, GPS etc.
The Vivo Y81 price in India is set at Rs. 12,999 and comes in Gold and Black colors. It is already available at Flipkart, Amazon.in and Vivo Online Store in India.
