Wileyfox, a known smartphone maker from UK has announced Swift 2X Smartphone. It has hybrid dual SIM slots and supports 4G LTE.
The handset has dimensions of 144 x 72 x 8.8 mm and weighs 155 grams. It has fingerprint sensor on the back with NXP NQ220 technology. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow based Cyanogen OS 13.1 (could be replaced by stock Android in future).
The WileyFox Swift 2X specs include 5.2-inch IPS display with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution. It has 424ppi pixel density and comes with 2.5D corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection as well.
Under the hood is an octa-core (1.4GHz A53 x 4 + 1.2GHz A53 x 4) Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 MSM8937 processor with Adreno 505 GPU. It has 3GB RAM, 32GB built-in memory and allows further expansion up to 64GB using MicroSD Card.
The Swift 2X features 8MP front camera with OV8865 sensor for selfies. On the back is a 16MP main snapper with Samsung 3P3 ISOCELL Sensor, F/2.0 Aperture, PDAF, dual LED flash and 1080p video recording.
It has 3010mAh battery which supports Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 fast charging. It offers 260 minutes of talk time and 180 hours of standby.
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth V4.1, USB Type-C, GPS, 3.5mm Audio Jack etc. It also houses 15x11mm speaker and Power AM AW87319 for optimum audio.
The Wileyfox Swift 2X is priced at GBP 219.99 (US$ 268). It is available at Amazon.uk.
