Xiaomi seems to be working on an a budget phone called Mi 5C. Purported images and alleged spec sheet of this cellphone has surfaced.
Unlike the Mi 5s, the Mi 5c seems to have entry-level specifications. Rumour has it that it could feature Xiaomi’s very own Pinecone SoC inside.
According to the leaked specs sheet, the Xiaomi Mi 5c will have slim bezels and a5.5-Inch screen with 2.5D glass. Inside could be an 2.2GHz octa-core processor with Cortex-A53 cores.
The list also reveals 3GB RAM and 64GB of on-board storage space. The Mi 5C will run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS with MIUI 8. It will also support NFC and Mi Pay mobile payment service.
The mobile phone is expected with 8MP front facing camera for selfies and video calling. On the back side could be a 12MP main snapper with LED Flash and Auto Focus capabilities.
The Xiaomi Mi 5c is expected to go official at an event on November 30th. It price of phone is said to be CNY 999 ($144 or €136).
