Back in June, Xiaomi had launched Mi Pad 4. Today, company has unveiled its Plus variant called Mi Pad 4 Plus. It comes with AI Face unlock and also houses front facing fingerprint sensor.
In terms of specifications of Mi Pad 4 Plus, it has 10.1-inch WUXGA display with 1920 x 1200 pixels resolution, 224ppi pixel density, 16:10 aspect ratio, 1000:1 contrast ratio and multi-touch support.
Under the hood is an octa-core (2.2GHz Kryo 260 x 4 + 1.8GHz Kryo 260 x 4) Snapdragon 660 Mobile Platform with Adreno 512 GPU. It has 4GB LPDDR4X RAM and comes in option of 64GB / 128GB storage space. The tablet also allows further expansion up to 256GB using MicroSD card.
The Mi Pad 4 Plus features in 5MP front facing camera with Samsung S5K5E8 sensor and F/2.0 Aperture. At the back side is a 13MP primary camera with OV13855 sensor and F/2.0 Aperture.
The Tablet measures 245.6 x 149.08 x 7.99 mm and weighs 485 grams. It run on Android 8.1 Oreo OS with MIUI on top. The hardware is juiced up by 8620 mAh battery. Connectivity wise, it supports 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz) 2×2 MIMO, USB Type-C, GPS/GLONASS and Bluetooth V5.0.
The Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 Plus 64GB model price is set at 1899 Yuan (US$ 275 / Rs. 19,280 approx.) while the Mi Pad 4 Plus 128GB variant costs 2099 Yuan (US$ 304 / Rs. 21,300 approx.). The tablet comes in Black and Golden colors and will go on sale in China from August 16th at Mi.com.
