Xiaomi has announced its latest Router 4A and 4A Gigabit Edition in China. They come with two LED indicator and offers real time monitoring and parental controls using Mi WiFi application (on Android and iOS).
The Mi Router 4A has dimensions of 188 x 100.5 x 175 mm while the Router 4A Gigabit edition measures 201 x 122 x 174 mm. The former comes with MediaTek 7628DA SoC with 64MB DDR3 RAM. The Gigabit Edition houses 880MHz MT7621A dual core processor with 128MB DDR3 RAM. They have 16MB ROM and allows connecting up to 64 or 128 devices.
These support IEEE 8 02.11 a/b/g/n/ac and IEEE 802.3/3u/3b (3B only in Gigabit version). They have four omni directional external antennas (2 x 2.4GHz max gain 5dBi / 2 x 5GHz max gain 6dBi).
They include two LAN ports of 10/100/1000Mbps (in Gigabit Edition), Auto MDI/MDIX, RJ45 port and a power port. The router also offers better heat dissipation thanks to several holes under its aluminum base. These routers will get IPV6 support in June update.
The Xiaomi Mi Router 4A price is 119 Yuan (US$ 18 / Rs. 1240 approx.) and comes in White color. The Router 4A Gigabit Edition cots 169 Yuan (US$ 25 / Rs. 1750 approx.). They’ll start selling in China from March 19th.
