Xiaomi has already launched 55-inch and 43-inch Mi TV 4C Series smart TV’s. Now, company has also introduced 50-inch 4K HDR TV under its Mi TV 4C platform.
It has slim design wit measurements of 1123 x 649 x 703 mm and weighs about 10.8kg (with metal base of 272mm width). The TV is powered by MIUI TV which is based on Android OS. It also houses PatchWall AI layer which curates content according to recommendations.
The Mi TV 4C 50-inch also comes in Mi Remote control, which not only supports gesture controls but also Voice commands (Speech recognition). The TV also comes with two 8W speakers and supports Dolby Audio / DTS-HD Audio dual decoding.
It’s internal hardware are is more or less similar to 55-inch inch model. The 50-inch Mi TV 40 offers 3840 x 2160 pixels resolution at 60Hz refresh rate and 9.5ms dynamic response time. The screen also offers 178-degree wide viewing angles.
Under the hood is 1.5GHz Amlogic quad-core Cortex A53 processor with Mali-450 GPU clocked at 750MHz. The TV also comes with 2GB RAM and 8GB internal storage space. It comes with built-in Mi-Player which supports formats like RM, FLV, MOV, AVI, MKV, TS, MP4 and many more.
Other features include Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V4.2 LE, AV, Ethernet, two USB and three HDMI Ports.
The Xiaomi Mi TV 4C 50-inch is priced in China at 2199 Yuan (US$ 350 / Rs. 22,720 approx.) and will be available from April 3rd, 2018.
