Xiaomi has announced its latest budget smartphone under its Redmi Series called Redmi 4A. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS with MIUI 8 on top.
The phone has uni-body design with metal matte finish. The device measures 139.5 x 70.4 x 8.5 mm and weighs 131.5 grams. It has Hybrid Dual SIM slots (Micro + Nano / MicroSD) and supports 4G VoLTE. Sadly, there is no fingerprint sensor here.
The Xiaomi Redmi 4A specs include 5-Inch IPS display with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution. The Screen offers 296ppi pixel density, 1000:1 contrast ratio 72% colour gamut.
It has 1.4GHz quad-core Snapdragon 425 processor with Adreno 308 GPU (500MHz). It has 2GB RAM, 16GB internal storage ROM and allows further expansion up to 128GB using MicroSD card.
The smartphone is equipped with 5MP front camera with F/2.2 Aperture. On the back side is 13MP main snapper with LED Flash, F/2.2 Aperture, PDAF and 1080p video recording capabilities.
The mobile is backed by 3120 mAh typical battery Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth V4.1, GPS + GLONASS, MicroUSB V2.0, IR Sensor etc.
The Xiaomi Redmi 4A smartphone is priced at 499 Yuan (US$ 74 / €66 / Rs. 4930). It comes in Rose Gold and Gold Colour options. The handset will go on sale in China from November 11, 2016.
