Xiaomi has officially confirmed that it will launch its new Redmi Note 7S smartphone in India on May 20th.
Additionally, company has also confirmed that Redmi Note 7S will feature in 48MP primary rear camera at the back. There will be a secondary rear shooter (expected to be of 5MP) as well.
The dual camera setup seems to be similar to Redmi Note 7 Pro which was introduced in China back in March. If it is indeed the same, expect 48MP shooter with Sony IMX586 sensor, F/1.9, 6P lens, EIS and PDAF support. The 5MP shooter will be used for portraits.
Lately, Xiaomi has been teasing a Snapdragon 730 SoC powered smartphone. There is a strong possibility that Redmi Note 7S could used SD730 chipset.
Other things which will make into the handset is Dual SIM support with Dual 4G VoLTE. Also expect Note 7s to run on Android 9.0 Pie with MIUI out of the box.
