ZTE took to IFA 2018 Berlin where it has announced its latest flagship called Axon 9 Pro. It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo OS and sports IP68 rating for water and dust resistance.
The smartphone features in 6.21-inch multi-touch AMOLED display with 2248 x 1080 pixels resolution, 18.7:9 Aspect ratio and supports HDR 10. There is a notch at the top.
The mobile measures 158.5 x 74.5 x 7.9 mm. It has glass back and comes with rear facing fingerprint sensor. The mobile is equipped with dual speakers, dual SmartPA, delivers Dolby Audio and Dynamic stereo sound.
The ZTE Axon 9 Pro specifications include 2.8GHz octa-core Snapdragon 845 MObile Platform with Adreno 630 GPU. The SoC is paired with 6GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB UFS 2.1 storage (non expandable).
In terms of camera, there is a 20MP front facing shooter inside the notch with F/2.0 Aperture. At the back side is two cameras with LED Flash. The primary rear shooter is of 12MP and is equipped with 1/2.6-inch SOny IMX363 Sensor, F/1.75 Aperture, 1.4µm pixel size and OIS. The secondary rear camera is of 20MP and comes with 120-degree wide-angle lens.
The phone is powered by 4000 mAh battery and supports Quick Charge 4.0. Wireless charging is also supported. The device packs in dedicated dual SIM slots and supports Dual 4G VoLTE.
Other connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz) 2×2 MU-MIMO, USB Type-C, Bluetooth V5.0, GPS/GLONASS and USB Type-C audio.
The ZTE Axon 9 Pro price is set at €650 (US$ 758 / Rs. 53,910 approx.) and will initially land in Germany. The cell phone will also land in other European and Asian markets. It comes in Blue color.
