Acer has announced two new Predator Helios Gaming notebooks called Helio 700 and Helios 300.
The Predator Helios 700 gaming notebooks will be available in North America in July starting at USD 2,699.99; in EMEA in July starting at EUR 2,699.00; and in China in June, starting at RMB 19,999.
The Predator Helios 300 gaming notebooks will be available in North America in June starting at USD 1,199.99; in EMEA in June starting at EUR 1,499.00; and in China in May, starting at RMB 11,999. Exact specifications, prices and availability will vary by region.
Acer Predator Helios 700
It has 17-inch 144Hz Full HD IPS display with 3ms response time and supports NVIDIA G-SYNC technology. The notebook comes with all new 9th Generation Intel Core i9 processor which offers overclockable performance. It is paired with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 or 2070 GPU and up to 64GB DDR4 memory.
It has Killer Wi-Fi 6 AX and E300 which delivers up to 4x more network capacity in dense environments. Not to mention its five speaker and a sub woofer for realistic audio. The Predator Helios 700 also comes with Acer’s custom engineered 4th Generation AeroBlade 3D fans, five copper heat pipes, a vapor chamber and Acer CoolBoost technology.
By simply sliding the keyboard, two additional air intakes are uncovers above the keyboard and below the display. The keyboard also features in per-key RGB lighting, anti-ghosting and MagForce WASD keys. These MagForce keys use analog-like linear switches that trigger actuation immediately upon initial press for more control and precise movement.
Acer Predator Helios 300
This comes in bright 15.6-inch and 17.3-inch screens with 17.3-inch IPS panel, 144Hz refresh rate and 1080p resolution. Not to mention its 3ms overdrive response time for tear free gaming experience.
The Helios 300 will have options of up to 9th Generation Intel Core i7 processor with latest NVIDIA GeForce RTX 20170 GPU with Max-Q design. There is a special Turbo key for one-punch overclocking and Killer DoubleShot Pro for fast and lag-free networking.
The Notebook can be configured with up to 32GB DDR(2666Mhz) memory and offers up to two PCIe NVMe SSD in RAID 0 Plus a hard drive. Talking about build, it has metal Chassis with stylish teal blue accents and keyboard backlighting.
It has Acers 4th Gen AeroBlade 3D fans which has 0.1mm thin fan blades with serrated edge. The fan design was inspired by bionic silent owl flight mechanics for maximum airflow and minimize noise. It also comes with Acer CoolBoost technology.
