Google’s latest talk of the town update is here. It has revealed Android Nougat, putting an end to the naming speculation for its latest Android OS. From now onward, Android N will be known as Android Nougat.
It is next desert in line for Google’s Android operating system. Android Marshmallow had 6.0 version, so we expected Nougat to have 6.1 or 7.0. Google has been following the trend of naming it’s OS on deserts and this next iteration validates it.
Google has also unveiled Android Nougat themed statue at its headquarters in Mountain view, California. Google had asked public for ideas regarding the name and now, there you have it, Android Nougat.
