Huawei scheduled an announcement on December 5th where it will its new Nova Series handsets – Nova 6 and Nova 6 5G. Ahead of their official unveil, specs sheet of both mobiles have surfaced.
Both models will carry several similarities, which is but expected. According to the leaked specifications, Nova 6 and Nova 6 5G will run on Android 10 based EMUI 10 out of the box.
These will have 6.57-inch multi-touch display with 2400 x 1080 pixels resolution at 20:9 aspect ratio. The Huawei Nova 6 will be powered by Kirin 990 SoC while the Nova 6 5G will use Kirin 990 with Balong 5000 5G modem. They will have 8GB of RAM.
The Nova 6 is slated with 128GB ROM while its 5G variant will come in 128GB / 256GB storage options. The former will house a 4100mAh battery with 40W fast charging while the latter is powered by 4200mAh battery with 40W charging.
Their dimensions are almost same. The Nova 6 measures 162.6 x 75.7 x 8.56 mm and weighs 197 grams. The Nova 6 5G has measurements of 162.7 x 75.8 x 8.98 mm and has weight of 212 grams.
Leaked specs sheet also reveals 32MP (F/2.0, Fixed Focus in Nova 6 / Auto Focus in Nova 6 5G) + 8MP (ultra wide, F/2.2) dual selfie cameras placed inside punch hole. The back side houses 40MP (F/1.8) + 8MP (Telephoto, F/2.4, OIS) + 8MP (Ultra-wide, F/2.4) triple rear shooters with LED Flash.
Also expect them to support Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V5.0, GPS and USB Type-C.
We must mention that leaked specifications of Nova 6 and Nova 6 5G remains unverified at the moment. Official details will be out on Thursday.
