Huawei has officially unveiled its latest Watch GT 2 Pro smartwatch. It has rugged built made using premium materials and has specs similar to Watch GT 2.
The smartwatch construction uses Sapphire watch crystal, titanium casing and skin-friendly ceramic case back. The wearable has dimensions of 46.7 x 46.7 x 11.4 mm and weighs about 52 grams (without strap).
The Huawei Watch GT2 Pro is 5ATM rated, which makes it water resistant up to 50 meters. It has integrated speaker and microphone and allows Bluetooth calling.
The smartwatch sports a 1.39-inch AMOLED display with Sapphire glass protection and offers 454 x 454 pixels resolution. Powering inside is Huawei Kirin A1 chip with STL4R9. You also get 4GB Storage which can handle about 500 songs.
The Huawei Watch GT 2 Pro allows Heart Rate Tracking with TruSeen 4.0+ for accurate tracking. It has new LEDs and intelligent AI algorithm for enhanced tracking. The smartwatch can also read Blood Oxygen levels (SpO2).
It also includes Huawei TruSleep sleep monitoring, Huawei TruRelax and activity tracking. The smartwatch also offers more than 100 workout modes, including 17 professional modes and 85 custom modes. All-day activity tracking is also supported.
The Watch GT 2 Pro features in 455mAh battery which offers up to 14 days of battery life. It also supports wireless charging. Its fast charging gives about 10 hours of use with just 5 minutes of charge.
The wearable uses latest Bluetooth V5.1 to connect with smartphones and is compatible with devices powered by Android 4.4 or above and iOS 9.0 or above. It has VO2max support as well.
There are array of sensors inside, which includes Accelerometer, Gyroscope, Ambient Light, Gyroscope, Air Pressure sensor and Capacitive sensor.
The Huawei Watch GT 2 Pro price is €329 (US$ 390 / Rs. 28,705 approx.) for Night Black + Fluoroelastomer Strap and €349 (US$ 414 / Rs. 30,450 approx.) for Nebula Gray + Leather Strap variant. The smartwatch will roll out in September itself.
