LG had announced its K8 (2018) and K10 (2018) smartphones at MWC 2018. Now, company is launching both of these smartphones in Italy, but they’ll be called at LG K9 and LG K11 respectively.
Starting with LG K9 (also known as K8 2018), the device measures 146.3 x 73.2 x 8.2 mm and weighs 152 grams. It runs on Android 7.1.2 Nougat OS and is powered by 2500 mAh removable battery.
The K9 features in 5-inch on-cell display with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution and 294ppi pixel density. It has 1.3GHz quad-core processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB ROM and allows further expansion up to 32GB using MicroSD card.
There is a 5MP front camera and 8MP rear shooter with LED Flash. The model comes with Dual SIM slots and supports 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth V4.2, GPS, USB 2.0 Type-B etc.
The LG K11 (also known as K10 2018) comes with slightly premium features. It complies with MIL-STD 810G for durability. It runs on Android 7.1.2 Nougat OS and measures 148.7 x 75.3 x 8.68 mm.
It has 5.3-inch in-cell display with 1280 x 720 pixels HD resolution and 277ppi pixel density. Under the hood is 1.5GHz octa-core processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB internal storage and MicroSD card slot for further expansion.
The K11 features in 3000 mAh battery. An 13MP camera sits at the front while the back side hosts 8MP shooter, which supports PDAF. Usual connectivity options including Dual SIM with 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11n, NFC, BT 4.2, USB 2.0 Type-Bare also supported.
The LG K9 is priced at €150 and comes in Aurora Black and Moroccan Blue colors. The LG K11 will cost €200 and comes in black or gold colors. They’ll go on sale in April and May respectively.
