Xiaomi is working on Mi Mix 2 successor which will be called as Mi Mix 2S. Now, an original looking render has popped at Weibo, showcasing the smartphone in its full glory.
Talking about its aesthetics, the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S features a bezel-less design. It is believed to have four-sided ceramic uni-body design. The leaked post suggests a 5.9-inch full screen display with 95% screen to body ratio, which itself is a feat of achievement.
The right edge houses volume buttons and power button. The front camera is placed at the top right corner and is hardly noticeable. The Mi Mix 2S render does not show a physical fingerprint scanner, which hints a presence of under the display sensor or use of facial recognition technology.
Rumor has it that the cell phone might be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 Mobile Platform coupled with 8GB RAM and 256GB internal memory. If this is indeed true, the Mi Mix 2S could very well be one of the most powerful smartphone when it launches.
If you look at the back, the leaked poster hints vertically aligned dual cameras. These rear cameras are rumored to offer four-axis Optical Image Stabilization.
The Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S is expected to make a debut at MWC 2018 however company has not revealed much about it. Regardless, we will be covering it so stay tuned.
