Microsoft has just announced its new Surface Laptop Go. It is company’s lightest laptop with weight of just 790 grams. It has measurements of 292.1 x 203 x 8.3 mm and comes a fingerprint reader inside power button (not included in i5 model with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage).
The Microsoft Surface Laptop GO comes with a large precision trackpad and a full-size keyboard with 1.3mm key travel. It runs on Windows 10 Home OS with S Mode (Commercial Edition with Windows 10 Pro also available). The battery inside offers up to 13 hours of usage and supports fast charging.
It has 12.4-inch PixelSense touch screen display. The laptop is powered by 10th Generation Intel Core i5-1035G1 processor. It comes in option of 4GB LPDDR4X RAM with 64GB eMMC storage and 8GB LPDDR4X RAM with 128GB / 256GB SSD storage options.
For audio, Microsoft has included Omnisonic Speakers with Dolby Audio and Dual Far-field Microphones. The laptop also houses Ambient Light sensor. There is Wi-Fi 6 802.11ax and Bluetooth v5.0 LE support as well. In terms of I/O Ports, the laptop houses USB-C, USB-A, Surface Connect port and 3.5mm headphone jack.
The Microsoft Surface Laptop GO 4GB/64G variant price is $549.99 (Rs. 40,290 approx.) while its 8GB/128GB model costs $699.99 (Rs. 51,280 approx.). The premium 8GB/256GB variant has price-tag of $899.99 (Rs. 65,930 approx.). The laptop comes in Platinum, Sandstone and Ice Blue colors.
