Acer has announced new model under its TravelMate P6 Series called TravelMate P614-51. It measures 16.6mm and weighs about 1.1 kg.
It is a Windows 10 Pro notebook which can be configured with up to 8th Generation Intel core i7 processor, up to GeForce MX250 GPU and up to 24GB DDR4 memory.
The Acer TravelMate P614-51 comes with 180-degree hinge design, which allows one to lay the display flash. It has 14-inch IPS display with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution and 170-degree wide viewing angles. There is a damage resistant ultra-responsive Gorilla Glass NBT touch pad of its full size backlit keyboard.
The notebook is also Skype for Business-certified and delivers crystal clear video conferencing thanks to its four-mic array (picks vocals from up to 6.5 feet away). Cortana personal digital assistant is another plus point.
The TravelMate P614-51 also complies with MIL-STD 810G and 810F durability. It runs on Windows 10 Pro and comes with integrated Tursted Platform Module (TPM) 2.0 chip for hardware based protection.
Connectivity wise, it has eSIM for 4G LTE and supports 802.11ac 2×2 MU-MIMO. There is Intel ThunderbolT 3 port which delivers 40Gbps data transfer speeds to USB Type-C connected devices. Customers can connect a cable from the USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-C port to a Thunderbolt 3-enabled device and get four times the data and twice the video bandwidth of any other port type while also supplying power and support for up to 8K displays.
The Acer TravelMate P614-51 will be available in North America in July, starting at USD 1,149.99, in EMEA in June, starting at EUR 1,249.00; and in China in May, starting at RMB 9,999.
