Microsoft has introduced its new Surface Book 2 powered by new Intel 8th Generation Core i5-8350U processor. It is refreshed version of Surface Book2 which was announced last year.
Aesthetically, not much has changed from its predecessor. This particular variant houses 13.5-inch PixelSense display with up to 3240 x 2160 pixels resolution and 3:2 aspect ratio. 10-point multi-touch is also supported.
The 8th Gen Core i5-8350U Processor (can be overclocked up to 3.6GHz) is paired with integrated Intel HD Graphics 620 GPU. It has 8GB LPDDR3 RAM and 256GB of PCIe SSD storage space.
The new Microsoft SurfaceBook2 features in HW TPM 2.0 Chip for added security. It has 70WHr battery which offers up to 17 hours of video playback or up to 5 hours of usage in tablet model. It has 44W integrated GPU or 102W discrete GPU power supply with USB-A charging port.
The device also comes with Ambient light sensor, Accelerometer, Proximity, Magnetometer and Gyroscope. It has two Surface connect ports, two USB Type-A 3.1 (Gen1), USB Type-C 3.1 (Gen1), SDXC card reader and 3.5mm Audio Jack.
The latest Microsoft Surface Book 2 13.5″ price is $1499 (Rs. 1,03,800 approx.) and comes in silver color. It is already up for order at Microsoft Online store.
