HMD Global has just launched Nokia 6.1 Plus smartphone in India. It was introduced along with Nokia 5.1 Plus. It’s worth noting that this is the same handset which earlier introduces at Nokia X6.
The mobile measures 147.2 x 70.98 x 7.99 – 8.59 mm and weighs 151 grams. It has Hybrid Dual SIM slots (nano + Nano / MicroSD) and supports dual 4G VoLTE. It has 2.5D curved glass back, metal frame and rear facing fingerprint sensor.
The Nokia 6.1 Plus specs include 5.8-inch multi-touch display with 2280 x 1080 pixels resolution, 19:9 aspect ratio, 96% NTSC color gamut and houses Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.
It is powered by 1.8GHz octa-core 14nm Snapdragon 636 Mobile Platform with Adreno 509 GPU. It has 4GB LPDDR4X RAM, 64GB eMMC 5.1 storage space and allows further expansion up to 400GB using MicroSD card.
The Nokia 6.1 Plus features in 16MP selfie camera with 1.0µm pixel size and F/2.0 Aperture. At the back side is 16MP (RGB, F/2.0 Aperture, 1.0µm pixels, EIS) + 5MP (Monochrome, F/2. Aperture, 1.2µm pixels) dual camera setup with dual-tone LED Flash.
The mobile phone runs on Android 8.1 Oreo OS and is upgradable to Android P in future. It is powered by 3060 mAh (typical) / 3000 mAh (minimum) battery. Connectivity options include Wi-fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V5.0, GPS/GLONASS, USB Type-C, FM Radio and 3.5mm Audio Jack.
The Nokia 6.1 Plus price in India is set at Rs. 15,999 and comes in Gloss White, Gloss Black and Gloss Midnight Blue colors. It will be available online exclusively at Flipkart and Nokia’s official site starting August 30th. Pre-orders have already commenced.
