OnePlus just announced 6T, its latest flagship smartphone. It was just unveiled at an event in New York.
It comes with in-display fingerprint sensor which company calls it as Screen Unlock. The sensor can unlock in just 0.34 seconds thanks to its complex algorithm. The OnePlus 6T is also first smartphone in United States to feature in in-display fingerprint.
The 6T not only comes with smaller notch but a reduced chin. Its antenna has been fairly improved to support 233 carrier in 74 countries.
The handset comes in two options, a Mirror black model with ceramic finish and midnight black which has metallic finish. The 6T is also fairly slim and is made using premium materials.
The Oneplus 6T cameras have been improved. It has Nightscape mode (also coming to OnePlus 6 via update) which has advanced algorithms to take quality low light photos. Not to mention its 16MP and 20MP rear shooters which are equally powerful. The device also comes with completely new feature called studio lighting.
The 6T features in smart boost which uses RAM for ROM which results in up to 20% faster load times. Inside is an octa-core Snapdragon 845 Mobile Platform with 6GB / 8GB RAM. The battery gets an upgrade to 3700 mAh capacity with fast charging. Company claims to offer 23% better battery life.
