Oppo has officially launched F5 Youth smartphone in India. It was first unveiled last month in Philippines.
The handset is slight cut down variant of Oppo F5. It has fingerprint sensor at the back and runs on Android 7.1 Nougat with ColorOS 3.2. The device packs in Dual Nano SIM slots and supports 4G VoLTE.
The Oppo F5 Youth specs include 6-inch LTPS display with 2160 x 1080 pixels Full HD+ resolution. It has 2.5D curved glass with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on top.
It is powered by MediaTek Helio P23 processor which is an Octa-Core chipset. It also includes Mali G71 MP2 GPU clocked at 770MHz. The SoC is backed by 3GB RAM, 32GB internal memory and allows further expansion up to 256GB as well.
The cell phone features in 16MP front camera for selfies. It has F/2.0 Aperture lens. At the back side is 13MP primary camera with LED Flash, F/2.2 Aperture, Phase Detection Auto Focus and 1080p video recording support.
The hardware is juiced up by 3200 mAh battery. Connectivity wise, it supports 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band, MicroUSB V2.0, USB OTC, Bluetooth V4.2, GPS/GLONASS etc.
The OPPO F5 Youth costs Rs. 16,990 (about US$ 263) and comes in Black and Gold colors. It will be available in India via online and offline channels from December 8th.
