Realme has officially announced its cheapest 5G mobile phone in China called Realme V3. It was introduced along side Realme X7 and Realme X7 Pro smartphones.
The Realme V3 features in 6.52-inch LCD display with mini-drop notch and boasts 1600 x 720 pixels resolution at 20:9 aspect ratio and 88.7% screen-to-body ratio. It is powered by Android 10 OS with Realme UI on top.
Under the hood is an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 720 chipset with Mali-G57 MC3 GPU. The phone comes with 6GB LPDDR4X RAM and 64GB / 128GB storage (UFS 2.1) storage options. There is an 8GB / 128GB variant as well.
The Realme V3 specs include triple rear cameras with LED Flash. These make up of 13MP (main, F/2.2) + 2MP (macro, 4cm focusing distance) + 2MP (depth, F/2.4) shooters. At the front side is an 8MP selfie shooter with F/2.0 Aperture.
The cellphone has measurements of 164.4 x 76 x 8.6 mm and weighs 190 grams. It has rear mounted fingerprint sensor and comes with Dual Nano SIM slots. There is a 5000mAh (typ) / 4890mAh (min) battery and supports 18W fast charging.
In terms of connectivity, there is 5G (SA/NSA), Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V5.0, USB Type-C and GPS/GLONASS/Beidou.
The Realme V3 6GB/64GB price is 999 Yuan (US$ 145 / Rs. 10,660 approx.) while its 6GB/128GB model costs 1399 Yuan (US$ 205 / Rs. 14,930 approx.). Its 8GB/128GB variant has price-tag of 1599 Yuan (US$ 235 / Rs. 17,070 approx.). The smartphone is up for pre-order in China and will sell from September 9th. It comes in Blue and Silver colors.
