Xiaomi’s Redmi brand has just announced Redmi Smart Band in India. It has 1.08-inch (2.74cm) LCD color touch display with max 200nits brightness and sports polycarbonate body with removable Thermoplastic Polyurethane strap.
The Redmi Smart band offers 24×7 heart rate monitoring. It uses Bluetooth v5.0 to connect with smartphones and is powered by 130mAh battery capacity. Redmi says that battery fully charges in just about 2 hours using Direct USB charging and gives 14 days of standby time.
The smart band is 5ATM rated for water resistance. It has 3-axis accelerometer built-in. It comes with more than 50 personalized watch faces. The band also acts as remote control for music allowing you to play / pause / repeat audio.
The Redmi Smart Band features in 5 professional sports mode which includes outdoor running, exercise, cycling, treadmill and power walking. It can also monitor sleep cycles using Xiaomi Wear App. It also gives out sedentary reminders.
