Redmi TV with 70-inch 4K Display, PatchWall AI announced

Xiaomi’s Redmi brand has announced its first Redmi TV in China. It was introduced along side Redmi Note 8 and Redmi Note 8 Pro smartphones.

As you might expect, it does come with PatchWall AI which was already present in Mi TV’s. It has a 70-inch HDR10 display which offers 3840 x 2160 pixels resolution and sports 178-degree wide viewing angles.

The Redmi TV specs include 1.5GHz quad-core Amlogic (Cortex-A53) processor which is paired with Mali-450 MP3 (750MHz) GPU. It has 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage space.

The Redmi TV also comes with DTS audio and Dolby Audio. It supports H.264, Real, MPEG 1/2/4 along with other codecs. In terms of connectivity, there is Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Dual band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetotoh V4.2, two USB ports, three HDMI ports and S/PDIF. It has Bluetooth Voice control remote as well.

The Redmi TV price is 3799 Yuan (US$ 530 / Rs. 38,150 approx.). It will go on sale in China from September 10th.
