Chinese company VIVO has silently launched V9 Youth smartphone in India. It is a cut down variant of Vivo V9, which company had announced last month.
It has rear facing fingerprint sensor and houses Dual Nano SIM slots and MicroSD card slot. Unlike the V9, it has 1.8GHz octa-core Snapdragon 450 Mobile Platform with Adreno 506 GPU.
It has 4GB RAM and 32GB internal storage and allows further expansion up to 256GB using MicroSD card. The handset runs on Android 8.1 Oreo with Funtouch OS 4.0 on top.
The VIVO V9 Youth specs include 6.3-inch in-cell IPS Full Video Display 2.0 with resolution of 2280 x 1080 pixels and 19:9 aspect ratio. It has 90% screen-to-body ratio and sports 1.75m slim bezels. There Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection as well.
The smartphone measures 154.81 x 75.03 x 7.89 mm and weighs 150 grams. It has 16MP front facing camera with soft LED Flash and AI Face beauty. At the back side is 16MP + 2MP dual rear cameras with LED Flash and includes Bokeh mode and Shot Refocus.
The V9 Youth features in a decently powerful 3260 mAh battery capacity. Connectivity options like Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth V4.2, GPS+GLONASS etc are supported as well.
The VIVO V9 Youth is already available in India at offline retailers for Rs. 18,990 (MRP of Rs. 19,990) and comes in Champagne Gold and Pearl Black colors.
