Xiaomi had first launched Mi A2 Android One smartphone in India back in August. It came with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage space. Today, company has introduced Mi A2 6GB RAM with 128GB storage model.
Apart from RAM and storage, other details are the same. The Xiaomi Mi A2 features in 5.99-inch 2.5D curved glass display with 2160 x 1080 pixels resolution, 1500:1 contrast ratio and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.
It has an octa-core (2.2GHz Kryo 260 x 4 + 1.8GHz Kryo 260 x 4) Snapdragon 66 Mobile Platform with Adreno 512 GPU. This particular model has 6GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of eMMC 5.1 storage space.
The mobile houses Dual SIM slots and supports dual 4G VoLTE. It has 7.3 mm thick and has weight of 168 grams. It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo and is upgradable to Android 9.0 Pie in future. There is an IR sensor and rear facing fingerprint sensor.
The Xiaomi Mi A2 specs include 20MP front camera with Sony IMX376 sensor, 4-in-1 – 2µm pixel size and soft LED Flash. At the back side is 12MP (F/1.75 aperture, Sony IMX486 sensor, 1.25μm pixel size, EIS) + 20MP (Sony IMX376 sensor with f/1.75 aperture, 4 in 1 – 2.0µm pixels) dual cameras with LED Flash.
There is a 3010 mAh (typical) / 2910 mAH (minimum) battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 4+ fast charging support. Usual connectivity options like Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Hotspot, Dual Band, Bluetooth V4.0, USB Type-C and GPS are supported.
The Xiaomi Mi A2 6GB RAM + 128GB storage version is priced in India at Rs. 17,999 (introductory price) and will be available at Amazon.in starting today.
