IBM has announced that abof.com, a fashion e-commerce website, is working with IBM to provide enhanced personalized shopping experience.
adof.com is a part of Aditya Birla Group, an online store for apparels, footwear and accessories for men and women. The company needed a well-integrated e-commerce solution that would help it create a dynamic and interactive platform. For that, IBM has delivered customer engagement and order fulfilment capabilities to this new e-commerce portal.
The fashion portal makes use of IBM and integrated technology from business partner Metail and has added a 3D virtual trial room to the store front. Millennial Shoppers can input their body measurements and can virtually try any apparel before placing an order. This has resulted in to nearly zero percent product return rate.
