OnePlus has just announced its mid-range smartphone called NORD. Inspired by the word ‘North’, the OnePlus Nord packs in impressive specs and comes with a decent price tag.
The handset has gone through rigorous testing to ensure quality. It has same quality standards which are seen in OnePlus flagships like OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro.
The smartphone houses 6.44-inch Fluid AMOLED display with with 90Hz refresh rate and 180Hz touch sampling rate. and bezel-less design. It is powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor and includes Adreno 620 GPU. It comes with 5G Support.
The OnePlus Nord comes with up to 12GB RAM to ensure smooth performance and multi-tasking. It comes pre-installed with Oxygen OS 10.5 which is based on Android 10.
It has Quad-camera setup at the back. It includes primary 48MP 1/2-inch Sony IMX586 sensor with F/1.75 Aperture, OIS and includes nightscape mode support and 4K recording support. There is a secondary 8MP snapper with 1/4-inch sensor size, 119-degree wide-angle lens and F/2.25 Aperture. There is a third macro camera with 1/5-inch sensor size, F/2.4 Aperture and 4cm focus distance. It has fourth depth sensor as well.
For selfies, OnePlus Nord features in a 32MP main cmaera with 1/2.74-inch Sony IMX616 sensor, F/2.45 Aperture and easily take group or low light selfies. There is a secondary 8MP ultra-wide angle lens with 1/4-inch sensor, 105-degree FOV and F/2.45 Aperture. It supports Advanced Face distortion correction to further ensure picture quality and brighten images.
The smartphone supports Warp Charge 30T fast charging which can refill its 4115mAh battery from 0 to 70% in just 30 minutes.

The OnePlus NORD price starts at Rs. 24,999 in India / Euro 399 in Europe / 379 pounds in UK for base 6GB/64GB model. Its 8GB/128GB variant sots Rs. 27,999 while its 12GB/256G model has price tag of Rs. 29,999.
The NORD from OnePlus will be released in India and Europe on August 4th. In India, the handset will be available at Amazon.in, OnePlus.in, OnePlus stores and partner stores. The handset comes in Blue Marble and Gray Onyx colors. It is worth noting that entry level 6GB/64GB Gray Onyx model will be available in September.
