At the Snapdragon Tech Summit Digital, Qualcomm has take wraps of its latest flagship mobile processor called Snapdragon 888.
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 is paired with 3rd Generation Qualcomm Snapdragon X60 5G modem-RF system which brings compatibility for mmWave and Sub-6 bands world wide. It has 5G carrier aggregation, global multi-SIM, Stand Alone, Non-stand alone and Dynamic Spectrum Sharing.
The Snapdragon 888 SoC comes with new 6th Generation Qualcomm AI Engine and a completely re-engineered Qualcomm Hexagon processor. It delivers an astonishing 26 tera operations per seconds (TOPS). Additionally, it has 2nd Generation Qualcomm Sensing Hub with lo-power always-on AI Processing.
It has 3rd Generation Snapdragon Elite Gaming that delivers dozens of mobile-first technologies to smartphones including updatable GPU drivers. The Snapdragon 888 SoC has faster gigapixel speed Qualcomm Spectra ISP which allows user to capture photos and videos at 2.7 gigapixels per second or roughly 120 photos at 12MP resolution (35% faster than previous generation).
