Qualcomm has announced slightly upgraded variant of its Snapdragon 710 SoC and company is calling it as Snapdragon 712 Mobile Platform.
Its specifications are more or less similar to SD710 but has faster clock speeds. It has 2.3GHz Kryo 360 dual cores as opposed to 2.2Ghz in its predecessor. The increase offers up to 10% increase in performance.
The Snapdragon 712 SoC is specially engineered to offer better battery life. It has heterogeneous computing structure which helps balance applications workloads, maintain low thermals and optimize power and performance.
